Approximately 12 double threads per inch. Monk's cloth is woven in a basket weave structure which is sturdier, yet just as flexible as the plain weave structure of burlap and other backings. Another great feature is the white grid line that runs vertically every two inches. These lines make it easy to position your design and to stretch the cloth evenly on your frame. Sold by the yard. Cotton Warp Cloth, 60" width $20.00 There are 13 warps and 13 wefts per inch in our 100% cotton warp cloth. It is woven with single strands of tightly twisted cotton warp. The threads deflect to allow the passage of yarn or fabric. Cotton warp cloth will accommodate all sizes of yarn and allows one to hook or punch without skipping spaces. It cures overnight, adding body, securing the structure and making it skid proof. Saf-T-Bak is sold in one quart tubs which will cover about 9 square feet. Try it on bottom of slipper soles. Please note, all latex backings contain rubber which may eventually darken light colored vinyl floors. Be aware of this and use a non-rubber floor mat when necessary.
